Growing together for a sustainable future
That’s why we are proud to support Baniarchala Model Academy, a local school in Gazipur, Bangladesh, attended by many children of AMC Composite factory workers.

A school at the heart of the community
Baniarchala Model Academy educates 333 students, from early years through Grade 10. More than half of the students are girls, and many come from low-income families, with a number of children receiving free education.
Importantly, 151 students are children of AMC Composite workers making the school a natural place for us to support, rooted in proximity, trust, and real community needs.
When the project began, the priority was clear: create a safe, functional, and motivating learning environment.
B&C supported essential infrastructure improvements, including freshly painted classrooms, clean toilets, drinking water fountains, LED lighting, and fans — simple but fundamental elements for everyday learning.
From there, the focus expanded to opportunity.
Bringing digital learning to life
Access to technology is key to future employability, yet remains limited for many children. To help bridge that gap, B&C supported the creation of a new computer lab, equipped with eight computers, desks, chairs, and a beamer. For many students, this is their first exposure to digital tools and basic IT skills.
Reliable energy through solar power
Frequent electricity outages can disrupt learning — especially when it comes to digital equipment. To ensure continuity, 12 rooftop solar panels were installed, providing energy autonomy for fans and computers, and allowing classes to continue even during power cuts.
Making science tangible
Practical science education was another missing piece.
Today, the school is equipped with the necessary materials to properly teach chemistry and physics, enabling hands-on experiments and a more engaging learning experience for students.

A collective effort, officially launched
The project was officially inaugurated on Monday 19th January, bringing together the school team, AMC management, and B&C representatives. It marked a uniquely successful collaboration built on shared responsibility and trust.
