PST by B&C – Pioneering the future of sweatshirts since 2003

Perfect Sweat Technology – the technical edge in sweatshirt fabric

Back in 2003, B&C dared to do something different – we launched Perfect Sweat Technology (PST), a breakthrough sweatshirt fabric that combined the softness and printability of cotton with the durability of polyester. It was a first in our industry, and it made our premium sweatshirts stand out from day one.

“For more than 20 years, PAS has been selling B&C’s PST sweatshirts every day, thanks to their excellent quality and value – and for the great decoration results they deliver.”

Katia Bitaine, PAS Print, Belgium.

The science behind PST

At the heart of B&C’s Perfect Sweat Technology (PST) lies a 3-thread fleece construction, engineered to meet the highest demands of decoration, durability, and comfort. It’s not just a fabric, it’s a deliberate combination of yarns that work together to deliver consistently excellent results.

1. Face Yarn (Surface)

Material: 100% Cotton (investing in Better Cotton or Organic/Organic in Conversion Cotton) / Yarn Count: 30/1, ring spun / Ultra-smooth and tightly knitted. High stitch density ensures minimal fibre lift ideal for print applications: absorbs ink evenly, supporting sharp definition & vibrant colours.

2. Tie Yarn (Middle/Binding Layer)

Material: 100% RCS Certified Recycled Polyester (filament) / Strong, continuous filament yarn binding the face and back yarns together. Stabilises the fabric, reducing distortion and shrinkage and enhances durability.

3. Back Yarn (Interior Layer)

Material: 80% Cotton (investing in Better Cotton OR Organic/ Organic In-Conversion Cotton) / 20% RCS Certified Recycled Polyester / Yarn type: ring spun / Cotton-rich content for softness and comfort, with polyester for strength and moisture management

22 years of innovation

PST was never just about solving a technical challenge. It reflected the way we think at B&C: curious, creative, always looking ahead.  More than twenty years on, our spirit of innovation hasn’t faded. We’ve evolved PST by switching to more sustainable fibres, proving that being special means never settling, always improving, and caring about the impact we leave behind.
