Not just what’s inside, packaging matters too.
When we talk about sustainability in fashion, packaging often goes unnoticed. Yet every garment moves in a bag, a box, with a label and a strip of tape. At B&C, these ‘invisible’ items are no longer an afterthought.
Since August 2025, all packaging sourced by B&C – cartons, polybags, shipping labels, and even tape – has been reworked to be more responsible, using recycled content and certified raw materials. It’s a move that cuts waste, anticipates new regulations, and reinforces our commitment to accountability across the supply chain.

FSC Certified
All B&C cartons are made from FSC certified fibres: FSC MIX or FSC RECYCLED.
Recycled materials
All B&C cartons, polybags and tape (from January 2026) are made from recycled materials.
Recyclable
All B&C cartons, polybags and shipping labels are recyclable.
Compliant
More responsible materials align with current and upcoming legislation
Accountability
Shift to responsible materials enhances traceability and accountability across our supply chain
Cartons count
Packaging starts with cartons. At B&C, these now include between 70% and 100% recycled paper, and proudly carry the FSC MIX* or FSC RECYCLED* marks, guaranteeing traceable and responsibly sourced fibres.
For Zahed Obaidee, Deputy Managing Director (carton supplier), the shift is also a story of partnership.
“B&C was our very first customer back in 2006. We’ve grown together ever since, expanding from a single plant to four facilities serving over 65 brands. Our relationship is special, rooted in sustainability and trust”
And it’s not just recycled content, all B&C cartons are fully recyclable, keeping materials in circulation long after they leave our warehouse.
*FSC MIX: 70% - 90% recycled paper- FSC recycled certified/10%-30% virgin paper (FSC certified)
*FSC RECYCLED: 100% recycled paper- FSC recycled certified
Smarter polybags
Polybags are essential to protect garments in transit. The challenge is to make them more sustainable. B&C now uses 100% post-consumer recycled polyethylene (LDPE), certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) or the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS). Our polybags are not only made from recycled materials but are also fully recyclable, giving them a second life after use.
“Our journey with B&C has been one of trust and shared values. Supplying eco-friendly labels, bags, and tapes isn’t just business– it’s part of a joint commitment to sustainability."

Labels and tape too
The details matter. Shipping labels are now printed on 100% FSC-certified thermal paper, making them recyclable and ensuring fibre traceability. From January 2026, all our gum tape will be made from post-consumer recycled polypropylene, another small but important improvement.

Small changes, big impact
Rethinking packaging reduces the demand for virgin resources, lowers emissions, and keeps materials in circulation. It also shows that sustainability is not just about products, but about every part of our business.
