A Story of Hope: Our Partnership with MSF in Kamrangirchar
In 2022, we set out on a journey with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), driven by a simple wish: to make a real difference in the lives of people facing daily challenges.
This desire led us to Kamrangirchar, a densely populated area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Imagine a place where access to basic healthcare was a luxury, where the needs were urgent and the resources stretched thin.
Our local team in Dhaka recently had the chance to visit the Kamrangirchar Hospital, recently renovated by MSF with our support. What they saw was a powerful reminder of why we embarked on this partnership. It was an inspiring experience, a story unfolding before their eyes.

A Glimpse of Change
Our modern factories may be located in other parts of Dhaka, but we felt a deep responsibility to support neighbouring Kamrangirchar, a community facing significant hardship.
Many of the people here work in factories where conditions are far from ideal, and for too long, healthcare was out of reach.
Our partnership with MSF helped them change that story, by renovating the local hospital, a 31-bed facility that's now a beacon of hope. Providing essential medical equipment, supplies and training, they gave local healthcare workers the tools they need to save lives and restore dignity.
MSF’s project in Kamrangirchar focused on three critical areas, each a chapter in a larger story of transformation:
- Mothers and babies: providing safe maternity care, giving women the chance to bring new life into the world with dignity and safety. They also made contraception accessible, empowering women with choices about their health and their future.
- Survivors of violence: helping provide mental health services and emergency care for those who have endured sexual and gender-based violence, offering a path towards healing and recovery.
- Workers' health: supporting occupational healthcare, providing diagnostic tools to help people get back on their feet and back to their lives.
During their visit, our team didn't just observe; they connected. They spoke with the doctors, the nurses, the staff, and most importantly, the patients. They heard stories of resilience, of gratitude, and of lives changed because dedicated healthcare professionals were given the resources to do their extraordinary work.
A Legacy of Hope
MSF's direct work in Kamrangirchar may have concluded in March, but the story doesn't end there. The hospital stands stronger, healthcare teams are better equipped, and the community has access to the care they deserve.
This is a legacy of hope, a testament to what's possible when we work together.
For us, our partnership with MSF is the very definition of what it means to be a B Corp. It's about understanding that our responsibility extends beyond our products. It's about investing in people, in communities, and in creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. By supporting MSF, we're not just upholding our values; we've helped to write a new story for Kamrangirchar.
