Sustainability isn’t just a commitment for us – it’s how we do business
It shapes the choices we make every day, from the materials we choose to the way we work with partners and suppliers. We focus on doing better in practical, measurable ways.
Better materials, chosen with impact in mind.
Better ethics, ensuring respect, fairness and safe working conditions.
Better accountability, so we take responsibility for our actions and remain transparent about our progress.
It’s a journey, and we’re committed to it for the long term
This means looking at our entire value chain, continuously challenging ourselves and understanding that every decision counts – for people, for the planet and for all our stakeholders. We know it’s not about being perfect, but about making progress where it matters.
As a certified B Corp, we hold ourselves to recognised social and environmental and remain accountable for continuous improvement.
We’re proud to be part of a global movement using business as a force for good.
Our B Corp certification in 2025 formalises our long-term commitment to responsible business. It provides a clear framework to measure impact, ensure accountability, and drive continuous improvement across our entire value chain.
Today, and in the years to come.

Better materials.
Less impact,
more future.
We want to work for the planet, not against it. From sourcing responsible and recycled materials to cutting chemicals and reducing water use, we make choices that matter. Sustainability runs through everything we do—designing for longevity, rethinking packaging, lowering transport emissions, and keeping our footprint as light as possible at every stage. Because better materials are just the start.
Recycled Polyester & Nylon
Since 2023, we have limited our reliance on virgin resources and reduced waste, by incorporating recycled polyester (and nylon) in our products. Made from post-consumer and post-industrial plastics, these materials give a second life to waste while lowering energy use and CO2 emissions.

Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
In 2023 we switched all our conventional cotton to Better Cotton (now known as BCI Cotton), reflecting our dedication to improving cotton farming globally. BCI Cotton is grown with less water, fewer chemicals, and better working conditions for farmers. Making it a more responsible choice for people and the planet.
In December 2024, B&C committed to the new Physical BCI Cotton, traceable from country of origin to finished products. The first styles made with Physical BCI Cotton landed in our stocks in September 2025.
In October 2025 we became a BCI Certified Organisation - leading the way in scalable sustainable cotton sourcing, turning commitment into action and bringing you products you can feel proud to offer, wear and share.

Organic in Conversion Cotton
Transitioning to organic farming takes time and support. By using organic in conversion cotton (in addition to organic) we help farmers shift to fully organic methods while ensuring a fair and responsible supply chain. This supports biodiversity, soil health, and a chemical-free future for cotton production.

Oeko-Tex
All our garments have the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, guaranteeing that they’re free from harmful chemicals and substances. Thanks to this we minimise environmental impact and ensure the safety and comfort of both consumers and the people who make our clothes.

PFAS Free by design
Water repellence shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. That’s why we avoid PFAS across our Reset Outerwear collection.
Instead we use fluorine-free alternatives that deliver reliable performance without leaving a lasting footprint on ecosystems or human health.
It’s a deliberate choice that aligns with evolving regulations and our long-tern sustainability commitments.

Traceability by B&C
We’ve revolutionised our garments with Fairly Made’s cutting edge traceability. Scan the QR code on any B&C label and dive into its journey – from origin to impacts.
Responsible packaging
Sustainability doesn’t stop at the product. That’s why we now only use recycled and certified materials across cartons, polybags, labels and tape.
By reducing reliance on virgin resources wand ensuring recyclability, we cut waste, lower impact and bring the same level of responsibility to our packaging as we do to garment design.

Better ethics.
People first.
Always.
Made right by people who matter.
Caring for people goes beyond the quality of products. It’s about fostering fair treatment, well-being and respect throughout our supply chain. From ensuring fair and safe working conditions to supporting communities, prioritising people creates a positive impact that aligns with our ethical values and promotes long-term sustainability. Taking responsibility and being accountable for the welfare of individuals makes us stronger, more committed to a better future for everyone.
Fair Wear and Amfori – Memberships for Fairness and Respect
As a FWF Leader and Amfori BSCI member, we’re dedicated to improving labour conditions and protecting worker’s rights across our supply chain. Through regular audits, training programmes and engagement with our suppliers, we promote fair wages and safe working conditions, helping drive meaningful change. These memberships reflect our ongoing commitment to ethical business practices and respect for the people who make our clothes.

Long-term partnerships – the heart of responsible production
Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with our suppliers based on trust, shared values and long-term commitments. Our dedicated Dhaka Liaison Office team is on the ground, working closely with suppliers to promote ethical processes, support local communities and maintain an open dialogue that fosters continuous improvement.
By prioritising stability and collaboration, we create lasting impact for workers and businesses alike.

Empowering communities – creating impact
Supporting communities is at the heart of our commitment to people. Through our partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) we help deliver vital support where it’s needed most. Closer to our supply chain, initiatives like anti-discrimination training and grocery distribution provide workers and their families with opportunities for growth, stability and a better future.

Better accountability.
Proof over promises
We believe in honesty over hype. That’s why we make sure our commitments are clear, our partnerships are strong, our processes are documented, and our progress is measurable.
